"We take the hassle out of the building process"

The Site Foreman was established in 2003 to help owners and occupiers avoid worries when undertaking building or renovation. We help in the design, and in having the Development Application approved, the tendering, choosing a builder and ensuring they commence the job on time, finishes on time and importantly stays within the construction budget.

 Steve Moore and Mark Dowsley, the directors of The Site Foreman Pty Ltd have been in project development and control in NSW for over 28 years.

 For most clients the process of planning and over-seeing building work is daunting, frustrating and time-expensive. The Site Foreman is currently responsible for in  access of 70 projects at present. Each year, we tender over 100 projects with a combined value of $35 million.  Our experience of approaching and negotiating with council result in a success rate of over 96% approvals.

The Site Foreman’s experience and expertise help revitalise your present  home to suit your growing family.The Site Foreman will assist you to brief our architect and choose a trustworthy builder. At The Site Foreman you can be rest assured your interests will be protected and we will save you money all through the process.

The Site Foreman will put you at ease by, firstly, giving you an honest budget of  the overall construction cost. Importantly the Architectural plans are specifically  designed for your lifestyle, your personality and the land on which you will build/renovate.

The Site Foreman does not have builders working for them. They work strictly for the client.

We guarantee a fixed price building contract.

The Finishes can all be done by House To Home, the Director of which is Steve's wife Joumana Moore. Joumana looks after all clients personally and advises on what will work within the client’s budget. Joumana advises on the latest products so that the WOW factor comes into the job and will advise on what material to use so not to have to be a slave to keeping the home looking its best.

Joumana listens to the client and then, at a mutually convenient time, will take the client shopping for the products in which trade prices only are paid.

Consult The Site Foreman and rest easy, knowing you have taken the first step on the path to enjoying your projected building or renovation.
The Site Foreman concept developed as a result of the directors seeing the need in the market-place for a professional service eliminating the hassles from the building process. The company decided to focus its energy on the areas that are traditionally troublesome and, as a result, offers clients:

1. Cost effective architectural designs which meet client’s individual design requirements and, very importantly, the client’s construction budget;

2. Detailed and comprehensive documentation that enables builders and clients to enter into a fixed-price building contract with a guaranteed completion date;

3. A  project management service that ensures clients have a ‘professional’ representative over-seeing the job throughout the whole process.Our project managers are all highly qualified, ex builders with a minimum of thirty years building experience.

4. A professional consultant who assists the client in determining and purchasing the prime cost items.    “It’s not what you build today, but what you live in tomorrow.”

Innovative design and professional management of your construction project often results in cost savings that offset fees and charges of The Site Foreman Pty Ltd.

"The Site Foreman has roughly 100 projects annually with a tender of $35 million. Because of our approach with Council we have over 96% success rate for DA."

Meet the Site Foreman

Stephen Moore

is the director  who prior to The Site Foreman ran a residential construction company for approximatly 15 yrs in Sydney. The company specialised in custom built new homes and major alterations and additions.

Over the last 20 yrs he has personally completed a number of small residential developments in the Sydney metropolitan area. This experience has lead to an expertise in cost efficient and marketable designs.He has also developed a close working relationship with many councils potentially eliminating unnecessary delays in the approval process.

Mark Dowsley  is a co-director of the company. Mark is an electrician by trade who has designed and managed building alterations and renovations for over thirty years.

Mark's expertise is utilising his sound knowledge of construction costs and methodology to insure that the customer's needs are fullfilled in the building contract. Quite often clients come to us with plans already approved and once the tender process is complete Mark has the difficult task of "squeezing" a square peg into a round hole. In other words analysing what it is the client desires and modifying the design to suit their budget.

Mark builds a rapport with the tradesmen on the job, speaks the same language, has them wanting to please the customer, bring to fruition the customer's dreams. Mark knows the importance of every detail of the proposed job be written down and accepted by client, builder and sub- contractors. Once the work is begun, there are to be no unpleasant surprises for the client, no extra expenses, no decisions to be made with inadequate preparation or time.

Having The Site Foreman as project manager has the great advantage, for many clients, that the client does not need to direct the various tradesmen. The Site Foreman pays the tradesmen weekly, thus making life easier for them and helping towards a site on which all co-operate in satisfying the client.

Rafic Rahme: Ba Eng (MAST) Structural and hydraulic engineer, The Site Foreman.

Rafic has a Masters and Bachelor in Civil Engineering. He has been working in the industry since 1995. His main duties are structural and hydraulic design with concrete, steel and timber in medium density and high rise.

Our inhouse engineer is qualified in both structural and hydraulic. Whilst normally you would need to employ the services of two engineers, one for structural and one for hydraulics, this is not needed at The Site Foreman. For example; If you need a retaining wall built you would need the help of a structural engineer to work out how to hold the wall up and a hydraulic engineer to work out the drainage. They are two completely different jobs. Using The Site Foreman we are designing the wall to accomplish the design for both of the issues. Therefore saving a substantial amount on engineering fees.
